About the Role
The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple financial tasks in a fast-paced environment.
As the Accountant, you will:
Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations.
Assist with financial statement preparation, budgeting, and reporting.
Support accounts payable and receivable functions.
Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reconciliations.
Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Provide support for internal and external audits, coordinating with auditors as needed.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least three years of experience in accounting or finance.
Experience working with QuickBooks, SAGE, or other accounting software.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to problem-solve and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with teams and external auditors.
